I was worried they were after another tree snake (the snakes are full of worms which means I have to give them more worming tablets if they get one, plus it gives them the runs), but it turns out they were after little lizards. They know they're not allowed to dig around in the garden so when they're caught they pretend they were just hanging out in the shade. Sneaky puppies.
