This is the first time I've participated in Down To Earth's On My Mind and I'm quite pleased with myself.
This is what is on my mind today.
The Princess and I have horse-riding lessons again today, which I enjoy for two reasons.
One - I love horses and riding and the connection you feel with the horse and what your body is doing in response to the horse and the horse's with yours.
Two - it is something that we do together and it creates memories and history for us.

Dusty desert boots are such an Aussie icon aren't they? You have much smaller feet than me lol!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your riding!

I took a peak at you other blogs too, you made me laugh I love the one where your dogs are caught digging. I adore horses but they scare me so big. I rode one once as a kid and fell off, I had no clue what to do. TFS.
ReplyDeleteVisiting from Down To Earth.
I love horses too, wish I still had one to ride.
ReplyDeleteYou are indeed creating wonderful memories...
That is a great dusty boots photo!
I think riding horses is so awesome. My one experience was beyond scary! and I was told since i am fat, that's why it was difficult. :(
ReplyDeleteHope springs eternal, if i ever become thin! i would love to try again :)
some of my best memories are of things i did and do with my mum :) its a wonderful tradition to have.

Oh, thank you to all of you for visiting my blog. It's lovely to see some new faces. I can't wait to visit yours. Tania, I do sometimes visit yours but can't remember via who.
ReplyDeleteI love riding but I haven't done it for years so consider myself a beginner. I remember not being allowed to ride my cousins' horses unless I promised to barrack for Carlton. After all these years, I'm still a Carlton supporter!
Well, off to check out some blogs.
